AMERICAN SNIPER hits no. 1 target!

Singapore - AMERICAN SNIPER (M18) debuts at no. 1 with an estimated 52 screens (including IMAX). TAKEN 3, which commandeered the top spot for the past two weeks fall to third place with an estimated 32 screens while INTO THE WOODS, the highest debut last week holds at no. 2, also with an estimated 32 screens.  

Other debuts this week include codebreaker drama THE IMITATION GAME (NC16 / 23 screens) at no. 4; Thai romance comedy I FINE.. THANK YOU.. LOVE YOU (PG13 / 12 screens) at no. 5 and THE BOY NEXT DOOR (R21 / 11 screens) at no. 6.

New films starting outside the top ten include the NC16 edited cut of horror flick EXISTS (7 screens / an uncut version is not allowed for all ratings due to utterances of "Jesus f**king Christ" and "Jesus mother**ker") and the indie drama WHITE BIRD IN A BLIZZARD (M18 / 1 screen).
